Faith That Shows Up on Monday
Colossians 3:23
Kingdom faith becomes visible in calendars, conversations, budgets, deadlines and the ordinary work of Monday.
Faith is easy to admire in a worship gathering. Its strength becomes visible when the week begins. Monday asks whether our worship can become patience in traffic, integrity in a difficult decision, excellence in an unnoticed task and kindness toward a demanding person.
Scripture refuses to separate spiritual life from ordinary work. Whatever we do can be offered to the Lord. This does not make every workplace healthy or every request wise. It means our deepest standard is the character of Christ, not applause, fear or convenience.
Before your next task, ask three questions: What would faithfulness look like here? Who could be served by the way I do this? What shortcut would compromise the person I am becoming?
The Kingdom often arrives without spectacle. It arrives through a kept promise, a truthful report, a generous response and work completed with care. Monday can become an altar when ordinary faithfulness is offered to God.
This principle is shared as it was first taught, as a short card. The full reading with application and action steps is in the book journey.
